Das Zitat – genaugenommen sind's zwei – scheint aus The Lost One. A Life of Peter Lorre von Stephen D. Youngkin zu stammen, welcher wiederum zwei amerikanische Zeitungsartikel von 1934 bzw. 1935 zitiert. Da war Lorre ("Für zwei Mörder wie Hitler und mich ist in Deutschland kein Platz") schon im Exil, und hat sich mit Journalist/inn/en wohl auch auf Englisch unterhalten…
